I haven’t created invites in a while, but if i remember right it uses the channel you are in at the time as the destination for the invite you are making. So just make sure you’re in the destination channel you want first.

Hi guys, I wanted to ask the users of Discord Town if you’ve ever come across this issue: I have a really large server with lots of channels and sections. Is there even the slightest chance that, because of this, the channels in sections might randomly rearrange themselves? Let me explain better: if I place channels 1, 2, and 3 in a section in this order, after a while I find them as 2, 3, 1 – basically, they change places on their own but stay within their section. Could it be because of the server’s size, or is someone in my server having fun rearranging them constantly? Or do they automatically sort alphabetically? I don’t know; this has never happened to me (and I’ve managed really large servers before). Does anyone else have this issue?

Large servers usually tend to lag a bit when re-arranging channels and categories (so the change may not actually be visible for a few minutes) but they won't change order themselves
