Right. I knew the reason it was removed. It's on a very slow (random) rollout though, it seems. Of my 3 servers, the only one that got it again is my test server that sees almost no activity and has mostly bot users for testing. The servers that needs it again...don't have it yet.

Hello, you can give it to 3 friends who haven't had it in the last 12 months. You have to do it o the pc. When you go to message them there will be a new symbol by the present on the bottom right that will allow you to send it if they are eligible. If you check out the #🆕-product-announcements there is a link that explains it. I hope this helps. Good luck!

There isn't just an SMS authentication option, but you can make it a recovery method of the 2 factors authentication (that works with temporary codes).
And try in a browser to see that option, it keeps showing it disabled in the mobile app.
