I'm quite new to 3d printing. I was trying to print some medals for a project, but the printing quality seems very off. I printed simillar models before with the same filament and it was way smoother. I think it's to do with a setting, but I'm not sure which one. I'm using Bambu's P2S printer with default 0.20mm standard settings, except:

  • layer height - 0.12
  • Ironing - topmost surface (tried top surfaces before but resulted in uneven edges and still not smooth surface) on default settings
  • Arachne wall generator
  • Rectilinear top surface pattern
  • 8 top shell layers
  • 12% sparse infill, gyroid

during printing there would also be very distinct straight lines making a triangular shape which are not seen in the slicer
