It sounds like you may need to adjust the Vref settings for your TMC2209 drivers to ensure they are supplying the correct amount of current to each stepper motor. It's important to set the Vref correctly to prevent overheating and ensure proper motor operation.

For the extruder motor not extruding any filament and getting hot, it could be due to a clog in the hotend or issues with the extruder mechanism. Make sure the filament path is clear and the extruder gear is gripping the filament properly.

For the X axis overheating, it could be a mechanical issue such as binding or incorrect motor wiring. Check the physical movement of the X axis to see if there are any obstructions or misalignment causing excessive heat.

For the Y axis not homing and freezing when the motor current is reduced, it could be related to the Vref settings or mechanical issues such as a loose belt or pulley. Ensure the Y axis is moving smoothly and the belt tension is correct.

Make sure to double-check all wi...

I have some new motors I am gonna throw in but I dont understand why the extruder is just sitting doing nothing. When I tell klipper to extrude I can feel pulses from the motor but no movement

Ive replaced the x and y motors, and changed the microstepping,

#

The main problem is still the extruder not extruding.
