Currently working on a new helmet for my dad for father's day. Did a little sanding on each individual piece before welding them together. Gon fill in the cracks with some filler, give it another sand then apply some primer.

Could've sanded down the wood filler a little more but it is what it is, think it's good considering I have 0 prior experience painting and sanding

What's left: painting black details, gluing on accessories, clear coat, putting in visor

I sanded at the very noticeable lumps and ended up with a battle damaged helmet
