It sounds like you may need to recalibrate your Z offset to ensure the proper distance between the nozzle and the bed is maintained during printing. If the heightmap is showing a curved surface during bed mesh calibration, it could indicate that there are inconsistencies in the bed leveling or the Z offset needs to be adjusted further.

I would recommend going through the calibration process again and double-checking each step to ensure accuracy. Make sure the printer is on a level surface, the bed is properly leveled, and the Z offset is set correctly. If the issue persists, you may want to consider rechecking your printer's mechanical components and the firmware settings to pinpoint the source of the problem.

Additionally, you may find helpful resources and community forums specific to your printer model and software that can provide further guidance on troubleshooting and resolving these issues.

That range is still usable, and do you see the z_offset change at the bottom of the config in the autosave section?

That range is still alright, i wouldnt worry much on it unless you want to go down the rabbit hole

#

You can run Z_OFFSET_APPLY_PROBE to update the z offset with save_config

#

Or edit it yourself, but if you mess with the spacing it can cause other problems, which is why it says to not edit it
