I got the parts printed from another couple Sovol users on the sovol discord since I couldn't print ABS yet. But after working it out I got the stealthburner mod for my SV06+. Using the aftermarket Bamboo X1C hotend with all hardened nozzles. And the Galileo extruder.

The only thing left is to update the wiring harness down to the main board with the new shorter connector, add another rgb light strip, and find where I can get those stupid molex microfit connectors cheaper than $16 a pop from Amazon ($1 each on aliexpress, just takes 2 weeks. Ordering there amyways).

So far these are the upgrades I've done.

  • BTT SKR 3 EZ main board
  • 2209 steppers with dual z control
  • E3D high torque 0.9 stepper motors for X,Y,Z
  • Galileo extruder
  • Aftermarket Bamboo X1C hotend with CHT nozzles in 0.2 to 0.8 sizes, all hardened.
  • z axis couplers to reduce z wobble
  • Mean We'll UHP 500 2v PSU
  • Silicone bed spacers
  • Drying bushings
  • L brackets to tighten gantry from wobble (not installed as I need to update wires to be lo g enough to move the main board and PSU off the gantry

Also feeding from an eibos dry box and not using the stock filament holder.

If it's OK I will update the listing to links of the models I used and the amazon/Ali links (not affiliate stuff)

Once I get the dumb molex connectors I'll starts tuning it to get it printing

Stealthburner on an open printer is weird, it's good mostly for ABS but open printers must be enclosed for that
