If you are facing issues with printing PLA filament, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Make sure your printer's hot end is reaching the correct temperature. Some printers have inaccurate temperature readings, so you may need to adjust the temperature manually. Experiment with slightly higher temperatures in small increments.

  2. Clean the nozzle thoroughly. Sometimes, a clogged or partially blocked nozzle can prevent filament from extruding properly. Heat up the hot end, remove the filament, and use a small needle or nozzle cleaning tool to clear any obstructions.

  3. Check the extruder's grip on the filament. The extruder gear or drive wheel should firmly grip the filament to ensure proper feeding. If it's too loose, tighten it slightly, but be careful not to overtighten as it could flatten or damage the filament.

  4. Verify that the filament is the correct diameter for your printer. Some PLA filaments may have inconsistent diameters, causing feeding problems. Us...

You want to isolate the issue so first detach the Bowden tube from the extruder and try extruding, if that works then it's likely a hotend issue. It might be fully clogged and if it is then watch a YouTube video on how to clean out a clogged nozzle, there are tons of good videos.
