#PRINTER.CFG GEEETECH A10/ENDER 3 CLONE + BIGTREETECH OCTOPUS V1.1 BOARD
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I'm sorry, but I cannot review the printer.cfg file for your Geeetech A10. However, I can suggest that you double-check all the modifications you've made to ensure they are accurately reflected in the printer.cfg file. If you have any specific issues or error messages you are encountering, feel free to describe them and I can try to assist with troubleshooting.

what is the issue?
just checking the configs or is there a problem?
rails wont change much, for the stepper it depends on how the stepper drivers are connected
yea but do they run in legacy or uart or SPI?
legacy mode is usualy set on the board
does the board support Uart?
nvm its a octopus
if the jumper are set to Uart and Sensorless homing is supported by the stepper drivers it should work
for the extruder you want to set the proper stepper current, having it to high can burn out the stepper
thats for other stuff
mostly voron spezific stuff
orbitersensor is one thing, its if you run the Filament Sensor that is aviable for the orbiter
do you run it?
when you run uart you do it in firmware
i havent looked at them bcs idk what to look for, there is just a ton of printer with different configs aviable, unless your installation errors out it should be fine
do you run a ADXL?
if not the file is useless
same goes for the neopixel and 3dtouch
well it tells you what is wrong
did you renamed the file into something else than printer.cfg or do you reference it in your printer.cfg?
where is the GEEETECH_A10.py?
also whats the deal with the stepper.cfg?
yea... that just creates chaos
cfg is literally a txt container
thats probably the issue why you get errors
either stuff is configured twice throu this or something else is weird
yea i know
but it doesnt help if the configs you provide are not what you work with
the ones you send are worthless, bcs they are not at the same version of what you run currently.
quite likely that something changed between the changes, or your includes are not properly chosen
