#PS5 + SF6 + Split Spacebar (60HEv2) - Issues Report

Since the 60HEv2 came out I've been using it as a leverless with the attached layout. On PC this works great.
However issues arise when I went to play locals which use PS5.

I can summarize basically the storm of issues happening and I'm looking for a solution or firmware update from Wooting themselves.

  • PS5 supports keyboard. SF6 does not on PS5 (does on PC)

  • When plugging into a PS5 the detected keyboard works but SF6 refuses to let it operate as a controller.

  • Brook Converter (normally used to convert XBOX or leverless boxes to PS5) seemingly helps mask the Wooting as a controller and lets you appear as a controller so that SF6 accepts it.

  • In a leverless like setup in which I use two different buttons per spacebar segment, but randomly sometimes you get both buttons being pressed causing you to attack midair (left segment is normal buttons, right segment is jump). This issue does not exist on Steamdeck. Seems to be a result of the 60HEv2 having some input "bleed" when hitting the right spacebar segment.

  • Notably a huge amount of input lag seems to get added when going through the Brook converter into PS5. This issue does not exist on Steam deck.

  • All things above I've tried with NRKO enabled/disabled in setting, and with Hz being throttled.

In its current state its impossible to compete at EVO or play PS5 locals (current standard for SF6) with the Wootings.

If anyone else gotten their v2 to work on SF6 on PS5? If not, would it be possible to ask for a patch to fix the "input bleed" experienced when in controller mode?

can only speak on the brook converter input lag because ive never used my wooting for ps5, but the high input lag is normal when using the converter and is why it's best to use a licensed ps5 pad

too bad theres only a couple hall effect leverless out that are licensed right now
