Currently there is no method to disable the Lock state indicator (capslock,fn,scroll lock,Numlock) -- You can invert this,
but this would be nice to have so i passed along this feedback internally
Killing the caps lock LED specifically shouldn’t really be a thing with every key having their LEDs running all the time anyways
I believe they wish to disable the indicator so this doesn’t override the current RGB settings they have
This can be pretty apparent if you have an RGB effect that changes colour constantly and see one LED as a static colour
I don't actually know the physics/electrical engineering behind it, but my previous keyboard had a similar indicator and several hours after I bound caps lock to an ability key in Deadlock it just stopped working (I don't like numbers and I would use Shift like Overwatch but it's already used for dashing in that game)
it seemed like it was permanently dead, but funnily enough I plugged it in after several weeks recently and it was working again
I've also killed the caps lock LED on a macbook before
thanks!
Oh side note, the lock indicator while the keyboard can send the keycode to the system to enable/disable the system then broadcast the Lock state to the devices/keybaord
So in theory you could disable this information from being broadcast to the device, but I don’t have enough understanding of this to help
