how frequent is the issue?

#

are you able to recreate it somehow?

earnest arch
#

its hard to say how frequent it is due to how random it happens but i would say on average it happens once every like 5 minutes

earnest arch
#

while i was trying to type lol

#

omg it happened again

#

okay maybe it is the brightness then?

clever edge

I apologise for hijacking this, but I am also experiencing this same issue. It does the typical Windows USB "ping" when you (dis)connect a device.

It occurs seemingly at random, even while I'm not typing. Sometimes it will occur randomly while just sitting on the desk, others while I'm typing. Sometimes it will happen several times in a span of just a few minutes, while others it won't happen for a period of many hours.

I considered the issue being the USB-C cable or the USB port but the cable is secure and the issue occurs regardless of the port being used. The fact that it occurs even while not in use led me to believe it could be a software issue, but I'm not sure.

I've only had the keyboard for a week or so, and it first occurred a day or so after I received it.

@earnest arch you have never said if that worked out for you. If you still have the issue after reseating the JST cable you could just say it didn't work out here instead of hijacking other threads? smile
