hey! does it happen if you move the keyboard around?
or does it happen if you higher brighness + turning on tachyon mode?
no it just randomly happens, its so weird
well i have tachyon mode on but my brightness is only on 70%
if you higher brightness to 100 does it get worse?
i have not tired that but i'll try it rn ig
or the other way around, turning off tachyon + lowering brightness
i cant up the brightness cuz it says this everytime i try
click on the lock
oh alr
its hard to say how frequent it is due to how random it happens but i would say on average it happens once every like 5 minutes
okay well it just happen two times in a row
while i was trying to type lol
omg it happened again
okay maybe it is the brightness then?
while typing? I assume when you use the left side of the board?
Before proceeding This issue can also occur if the USB-C cable is loosely connected or if the USB-C connector is damaged. We recommend testing with another USB-
check the article
yea most of the time
uhh i mean i could try to do some of the stuff it says but idk i feel like i might break something by accident if i try
also this is what it says
every time it happens it says that
it's pretty simple, and the guide is also pretty helpful
I apologise for hijacking this, but I am also experiencing this same issue. It does the typical Windows USB "ping" when you (dis)connect a device.
It occurs seemingly at random, even while I'm not typing. Sometimes it will occur randomly while just sitting on the desk, others while I'm typing. Sometimes it will happen several times in a span of just a few minutes, while others it won't happen for a period of many hours.
I considered the issue being the USB-C cable or the USB port but the cable is secure and the issue occurs regardless of the port being used. The fact that it occurs even while not in use led me to believe it could be a software issue, but I'm not sure.
I've only had the keyboard for a week or so, and it first occurred a day or so after I received it.
Make your own post please
@earnest arch you have never said if that worked out for you. If you still have the issue after reseating the JST cable you could just say it didn't work out here instead of hijacking other threads?
okay well yea nothing ever worked out
could i return the one i have now and get a new one or something? cuz i did get this keyboard like a week ago
Its the wire the default wires have some weird problem it happended a lot to me then i just used my razer mouse wire and after that i never ran into that problem again
ive tried a diff wire it still continues to do the same thing its done it since it arrived

hey so I returned my keyboard and it said there was two options that I could do
- Full replacement, or
- Full Refund
How do I chose to get a full replacement cuz thats the one I want and im afraid that I accidentally did the full refund
I dont fully know if i did and idk how that really works
i sent an email back to wooting so yea
if you know that there is anything I should do or anything I should say to them that would be apperciated
Reply to the email that you want a replacement, and not full refund.
okay sure, this is what I said
That should be sufficient
okay great and do you think I should ship my keyboard later today when i wake up or should I wait?
up to you mate -
i will note that the provided return labal can expire after awhile (depends on the courier) but tends to last atleast 30 days
oh okay then I will just do it later today or tmr then
okay so I sent the keyboard back earlier today, should I email them that I did that or nah?
Best to email - That way we check the status of the parcel and speeds up the process
otherwise we may not respond until this has been returned and the returns has been notified
