have you tried using a different port or cable?
Hey, yeah ive tried that, other cable and other port. +its not a windows issue i would assume, ive tried several other keyboards, worked perfectly fine
check analog monitor and send a screenshot of it https://analog-monitor.wootility.io/
checked every key, just l-control doesnt work, r-ctrl works too
So when you press left ctrl key, there's no movement at all in analog monitor? Also those lines look weird, do you have hardware acceleration turned off in browser settings?
yeah i had it off, turned on now and yes, theres no movement at all
Then the hall effect sensor is most likely damaged. In this case you'll need to reach out to Wooting for further assistance. https://support.wooting.io
For now you can try cleaning left ctrl hall sensor and nearby multiplexer with isopropyl alcohol and see if this helps. Picture for reference, red is hall sensor, green is multiplexer.

To speed up the proccess can't hurt to include pictures of these 2 spots 🙂
i think i found out why it doesnt work anymore, this metal part is missing for some reason, but HOW THE HELL did it went missing overnight??
it worked perfectly fine for 11 months
hmm that pin handles power so if exposed to moisture tend to be affected with any issues
any corrasion/rust on the area ?
Looks to be in good condition aside from the missing lead
There appears to be a slight substance on the pin area, though this may have developed over a long period of time, causing the metal to weaken and eventually break/snap off
Best to send a ticket for warranty
Side note if you live in a high moisture/humid area may want to either
- remove the case foam
- preform a tap mod to isolate the pcb from the foam
Is it me or does the area just at the top of the picture look very blue/green as if there's corrosion? Is that just the light? 🤔
looks like water resistant coating
