80HE Black Zink Coating Issue

Hello Wooting Team,

I have been enjoying my keyboard for over a year now and have been very satisfied with it overall. However, I recently noticed an issue with the black coating on the keyboard.

In one area, the coating appears to be bubbling. It has not peeled off yet, but it feels as though there may be some form of corrosion underneath. I have attached a picture for reference — it looks as if air is trapped beneath the coating.

I’m concerned that continued use or pressure on this area might cause the coating to flake off and potentially expose the zinc underneath.

Could you please take a look and advise on how to proceed?

Sounds like the "Black Zinc E-Coating" issue. I recommend sending a support ticket and providing a few pictures to show the issue so we can offer warranty options.
