#Wooting80HE seemingly faulty?

Recently received my keyboard just yesterday. Installed keycaps and plugged it right away to use. Worked just fine, RGB lighting and all. Great.

Today, I boot up my PC and nothing. No sound from the keyboard. No lights, absolutely nothing. Tried every bit of troubleshooting I could find. The Wooting Restore tutorial, trying every USB port on my rig, different cables, plugged it into different devices (laptop & another PC), even unscrewed the case and took it apart to refit the JST cable and still nothing.

I believe it may be a faulty piece but if there’s any way anyone can help, that’d be appreciated!

Does the keyboard appear in your device manager?

device manager has been open for practically an hour, checked other devices and ofc USB controllers and nothing. "Wooting Restore" wont show up

Mmmh alright, might be worth trying one more reseat of the JST just in case but other than that, I'd wait for support to come back to you - should be a couple days or so

i forgot to mention this is a refurbished 80he model from the Wooting outlet so im not sure if that has anything to do with it?

I know you tried reseating the internal cable already, but are you sure both ends of the JST cable are fully plugged into the PCB and USB daughterboard connectors? Ideally, it should look like this
