#Barely any difference with the 80he

I bought the 80he and I first started using it 2 days ago and all of my friends told me that it's an insane keyboard and that I will be able to tell the difference instantly. They also said when they got their 60he+ or 80he that they couldn't move around at all because it was too weird at first and they had to get used to it.
When I got it though, I first launched CS (because that's the game all of my friends first noticed the difference) and I could not feel a difference or it was very small. Same thing with other games that I launched like Siege or Doom Eternal. In geometry dash though I can definitely see the difference and it is huge. But that is literally the only game I can feel a difference in and it feels kinda weird spending 220 euros for a keyboard just to be better in geometry dash.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience or has any tips if I am doing something wrong. I did adjust all the settings on wootility as well so that isn't the case.

can you maybe share screenshots of wootility (if possible all of wootility not jsut a section of it)

Also worth noting that the keyboard is magical not only because of the fast response rates. You have each key's actuation point on a separate setting, there are advanced combos, keys that are not available usually... I have TWO HE (basically a full-size keyboard) and I'm using e.g. FN + F5-F12 (as shift+alt+key) to mute/unmute mic in OBS, show/hide full screen on OBS, record, stop, pause, unpause. But also using F13-F24 so I have more key combos available. I've bound different weird profiles for games, e.g. half the keyboard with double keys (if I do a long-press [250ms+] then it's a different key than a short tap) so I can have e.g. accessible binds for magic. Analog controls are nothing to be sniffed at either, I've encounter games where it was necessary (looking at you, Outer Wilds and the ||seed planet||).

All that said, your use-case might not need the specialised keyboard and that's ok.

autumn sage
#

no but uh screenshot of the entire wootility would be good

#

idk if that profile is active or not

#

if its inactive it would explain it

urban swan
#

it is active

#

like that?

autumn sage
#

yeah ok then you should have the most sensitive settings available

correct

#

as far as i can tell you have the settings which would be the most responsive

well idk then, my friends call me insane for not seeing the difference

Skill and timing is still important even with rapid trigger. The better you are the more you’ll notice the timing differences in things like CS/Valorant where your time to shoot is significantly snappier after a strafe - but it won’t instantly give you magic strafing timings if you don’t put in the time first.

#

The best way I can describe it is if you’ve put in a lot of hours into certain fps games like Valorant for example, your shoot/strafe timings after a strafe and stop should feel like you’re playing with -20 less ping, which is a big difference at higher levels.

aight thanks for that info
