Hello,

My Wooting 60HE got stuck during a firmware update (Analog SDK).

Current state:
Device shows up as "Wooting Restore",
Wootility (both desktop and web) cannot detect or connect to it,
I get the error: "Timed out finding bootloader",

What I already tried:
Multiple PCs (same issue on all),
Different USB ports (including motherboard USB 2.0) and cables,
Wootility web (wootility.io) with WebUSB permissions,
Reinstalling Wootility,
Forcing driver change using Zadig (WinUSB), then reverting back to default HID driver,
Removing device from Device Manager and reconnecting,
Trying different key combinations to enter recovery/bootloader mode,

Despite all of this, the device still times out when trying to find the bootloader and cannot be flashed.

It looks like the firmware update failed and the bootloader might be corrupted or stuck.

Could you please provide a low-level recovery / manual firmware flashing tool or instructions to restore the device?

Thank you.

a corrupted bootloader is "Very" rare and should not be affected by firmware updates (this is not touched in a upload)

can you check what drivers are assigned while in "Wooting restore mode"

  1. Right-click the "Windows Start icon"
  2. Select "Device Manager"
  3. Select "View"
  4. Select "Devices by container"
  5. Find the keyboard and expand the device tree for "wooting restore"
  6. Take a picture of what is shown

Also to check when you mean "Analog SDK" was this updating the SDK on the system? as the keyboard firmware and the SDK are separate

look like a the driver was incorrectly assigned

i assume this was fixed by removing the driver
replugging the keyboard (to let it reassign drivers)
and preforming another restore fixed the issue?
