My Wooting 80he that I have had for only about a month keeps saying that my right arrow is pressed down to 1.43 actuation point. I have tried using another switch and dusting the socket that the switch goes it but nothing works. Also, somewhere on the keyboard something is always getting pressed 0.5 actuation and I think its the same key socket but there is no feature to tell me what is currently being pressed down. Is the problem that the internals are broken? or the software is bugging? Please help me

there is a feature to tell which is being pressed down - https://analog-monitor.wootility.io/

If you are experiencing your keyboard pressing random keys and opening programs, then you came to the right video. The issue is usually caused by an instable amount of voltage entering the board. Follow along to see what you can do about it.

yeah my key seems to be ghost pressing constantly
even when I take the switch out it keeps pressing right arrow
you have a magnet near your keyboard?
I use the a Logitech mouse pad to charge my mouse as I keep playing (i think it might have a very weak magnet) but when I move my keyboard around or in the air it keeps with the same problem.
the red line in the picture is my "." key and the blue line is right arrow
could you try removing the mouse pad, replug your keyboard and don't press any keys for 5 seconds?
yes let me try that rq
DUDE NO WAY UNPLUGGING EVERYTHING AT MY SETUP AND PLUGGING IT BACK IT WORKED YO
THANK YOUUOUUUUUU
Yeah with the mousepad
seems it was a calibration issue
Yeah thank you so much again, I was about to return the keyboard lmao
Hey @proud cobalt, for about a week now my down arrow key has been spamming kind of like how my right arrow key was with this problem(image 1-4). Its been clicking so much that's its been lagging out my computer with the amount of inputs(image 7), I looked up what to do and it said to unbind the key and set the actuation to 4, which I did, the problem is still not fixed(image 5). I don't even have a key switch in that slot so I know its not the switch. And when I have a switch in the key slot its stuck constantly pressing down(image 6). Is there any way to fix this or Is this something that would fall under warranty and I should return my keyboard for?
You helped me a lot last time so I wanted to ask again to see if you could help before I file a return ticket
Anything you changed like updating firmware?
Or any idea what might cause it?
Or did it happen out of the blue?
Also, I assume you already tried replugging.
When I checked Wootility it said I needed a firmware update so I updated it and reset the keyboard when it was done, the problem was still happening
I have no idea what caused it, I first noticed it about a week ago when I was playing minecraft and my pc started to lag really bad (I have a really good pc so this is out of the blue for me) so I went onto youtube and the webpage started to scroll down infinitely and cause my computer to freeze up for a few seconds from how fast it was going.
I mainly play Geometry Dash and I use Right Arrow to click, I dont know if my clicking somehow broke the sensor? I dont ever hit my desk anymore because thats how I broke my old Razer Mouse about 2 years ago😭
Yes I unplugged the keyboard and my mousepad, waited 30 seconds, and didn't plug back in my mousepad when I tested out the keyboard again.
Spamming the key shouldn't break the sensor.
Hmm, is tachyon enabled or disabled? What brightness are you using?
0% brightness with Tachyon enabled
Here I can send a short video of whats happening
Would you mind disabling tachyon and telling me if it changes anything?
Yeah Ill try that out
"unbound" in down arrow. in this video im clicking lightly on right arrow
also this is with tachyon mode off
With tachyon mode off I have a preset where the LEDs activate when I press something, my keyboard looks like 100 firework shows rn
Would you mind enabling tachyon again and using 100% brightness? And let me know what happens again?
Yeah I'll try that out, if you dont mind me asking what does the brightness do with the keyboard?
Tachyon and high brightness use a lot of power, I don't think it's the case but I want to check if the issue is power related
It honestly seems to be a broken sensor. So I would recommend reaching out to support, wouldn't hurt linking the thread because it contains some information
Again, spamming a key shouldn't break a sensor.
