Hello 👋
I recently bought a wooting I thought that was all turned out there’s a price for the import duties
I spent 800.24 SAR (approximately 200$)
And they say this

“We want to notify you that we had deducted our country's VAT (21%) on your order and did not collect the import duties and taxes from your country of destination.

You are exempt from our country's local VAT (21%) but your order may be subject to additional taxes, duties and/or custom fees charged by the country of destination.”

How much will I pay? I live in Saudi Arabia.

ask your government. usually countries have this publicly documented in government websites

depending on the local courier you may also pay some handling fee (basically they want you to pay for the time you save to not file import documents yourself)

most countries tend to just charge you the VAT of the country. some countries have additional charges depending on what you import (just the general category not what specific item and brand).

some countries also have a value below which no import fees apply

i suggest just googling in arabic given that this should be quite often googled anyway (thanks to the modern age of internet shopping) and also easily accessible

dont try to google specific technical words just a simple "how much tax do i pay when importing goods" (in arabic ofc)
