I already know the risks of the refurbished having minor dents/scratches but I also saw that the switch lube might be worn and I was wondering if the difference is actually big between a brand new 80he and the refurbished in terms of the lube. Also if the packaging isn't sealed then what is it going to be like? because there might be damage done in the delivery in that case

CAN* have minor dents/scratches. doesnt mean it will have them 100% guaranteed. refurbished basically means they are units we got back from 30day returns or such that are restored to a working sellable condition as b stock basically.
To be clear - Every single product we sell on the Respawn store is checked by staff. We don't just put them back on the shelf unchecked. If there's any damage to packaging, that's addressed. Accessories missing? Replaced.
ye mb I meant that it may have dents/scratches
what about the lube though? if it is worn as it says will it have a big effect in the long run?
Like Tony mentions it will be a month or so difference at most.
Most users never relube their switches ever. Enthusiasts often say once every five years or so is adequate depending on your home environment.
so there is basically no risks at all if I go ahead and do buy a refurbished
if youre fine with the risk of some cosmetic damage then yes
