every so often, my keyboard keeps switching on and off. I dont know if its the cable, keyboard, or computer. The cable doesnt seem to connect anymore, but when i used another cable i still had the same issues. My computer also seems to be a pretty warm so that may be the issue. If it does turn out to be the keyboard not working, would i get warranty?

If the keyboard is faulty and you still have warranty, I think so.
Tho you should check some things.
Try another port.
Try using the keyboard on a different device.
If you have the 80HE you should check if the JST cable sits correctly.
how should it be sitting?
Being connected properly
ok

Also try turning off 8khz and lower brightness to see if it's more stable
im seeing that it works fine with some cables but doesnt turn on for others. i checked the jst cable and it seemed fine. now im thinking its the keyboard
ill try on a different device
could you explain what you mean with "works fine with some cables but doesnt turn on for others"?
cable 1: when connected, doesnt even turn on
cable 2: jitters on and off
cable 3: after some time, keyboard starts jittering (i guess none of them are completly fine)
sounds weird, you might try a fourth cable
i just tried cable 1 on a different device and it turned on so...
what cables are you using?
stock wooting and 2 of the same gumjo coiled cables on amazon
just cuz a cable provides enough power for one item doesn't mean it provides enough power for another
hmm you might also contact support for official support over one of these links
ok thanks for you help

good luck solving the problem
