#Gateron Jade Pro Problems

Is anyone else experiencing ghost inputs, phantom presses, or jitter with Gateron Jade Pro switches on a Wooting board?
In my setup:

• Wooting 80HE module (ISO DE)
• KBDFans GT80 case (stock foam)
• Stock keycaps
• Gateron Jade Pro switches

The module was already replaced once since support and I initially suspected a faulty PCB.

Now with the replacement module, I’m still seeing the same issue though it’s less noticeable when using the beta firmware and the Gateron Jade Pro switches.

Could this be a software or firmware issue?

I’ve reopened my previous support ticket and am waiting for a response, but I wanted to ask here in case I’m not the only one running into this problem.
The Jade Pros are a pretty popular switch choice for Wooting boards, so I figured it’s worth checking.

Thanks in advance, everyone! :D

What does it look like when u use this

Have an old screenshot from the previous module not from the replacement I received yesterday but can’t send it right now because I’m at work, will do later when I’m home and post it here.

but several keys (really random which keys are affected) inputs from 0,12 up to 0,4mm. The switches are fine, already replaced some but the issue persists.

Seems like a power supply issue

#

id try different ports and cables

Everything on my setup is on a powered usb 3.0 hub (cuz of dual setup for Homeoffice) but I’ve already tried plugging the keyboard directly into my motherboard - unfortunately same behavior

So i really doubt the switches are the issues cos they dont affect things like this

#

its likely power related, if u dont have a magnetic table like secretlab magnus, or any magnetic items near it

Jade Pros shouldn't cause any issues, especially on the beta firmware where the switch selector is available.

Do you have a metal desk with magnetic attachments by any chance?

can u turn off tachyon and turn off rgb

#

and test

sand prism
#

Tried this, 1K or 8K polling or even tachyon mode or debounce filter doesn’t solve this behavior

#

And I highly doubt that I’m receiving 2 defective PCBs in a row tbh ^^

Also before anyone asks: the JST connector is correctly seated and all the way in :)

sand prism

its really just random

verbal mural
#

yea switches dont affect issues like this

sand prism
#

and your assummtion like power related cant be the issue, like I tried different ports & different cables

verbal mural
#

power related is the most common

#

for when it looks like this

sand prism
#

mh sadly not in my case lol

verbal mural

Quick update regarding this case:

support told me that I received a replacement module from the same batch and was manufactured in the same week as my previous defective module which I returned, and they are aware that some modules have had this issue.

Damn this is unlucky xd
