I just picked up the UwU and I can not figure out what to actually do with it. Was this thing really made for just a single game?

  1. You can't launch applications or target specific .exe's
  2. Can not select my Wooting keyboard profiles with it (you can only select the UwU profiles).
  3. Can not control brightness on the keyboard.
  4. Can not target specific folder locations (C:\My Mods\ or D:\My Games)
  5. The 3 buttons make it pointless to use as an alternate keypad for a Gamepad (AKA Controller) set up. Why not 4?
  6. The bottom buttons are so small I find them impossible to use for anything other than a mode or function switches.

Just a bit disappointed with the lack of functionality. Am I missing something in the software?

The marketing implies that it is more.... But I agree with you as that probably being the only usefulness for it.
I guess it'll be bouncing its way back.

well it technically is

#

if you map f13-f24 to it you can use it as a macropad

#

and you can play some games with the 3 keys it has as gamepad buttons

#

the main reason for why 3 keys is rythm games though

#

the original concept from like years before UwU was announced was a 4 key pad that just didnt land well

#

also all of this "one keyboard controlls another" was just not doable before because usb devices cant communicate like that without software or custom drivers or such. but now that the background program is out this could be on the roadmap where you can map functions to control another device (wooting device)
