If you’re looking for side printed legends on your keycaps, there’s TONS of 3rd party options. Wooting keyboards use cherry form factor keycaps, but pretty much any keycaps compatible with mx stems work.
RGB is quite bright. Just make sure the RGB window on whatever switch you use is facing north so the light passes through
Then use pudding style keycaps. Light diffuses like crazy all around the keycap.
Double shot pbt keycaps also diffuse light quite well…being dim won’t be an issue.

Not side print, but I have used pudding keycaps and they’re insanely bright all around the sides with my 80HE
