did you try doing a recovery? in wootility click help on the left
wait
it ain’t even recognized as connected in the software
doesnt matter
just go through recovery
unless you mean its not detected in the recovery
it worked for 30 min and now it disconnects again for like 1 second
That sounds like the JST cable is loose, it's the cable between the daughterboard and the main PCB
and what can i do about it? i mean the keyboard isnt even 6 months old
Open up the keyboard and make sure it's plugged in well:
Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the case (you'll need PH1 screwdriver)
Remove the top case
Lift the module
Push both ends of the JST cable into the PCB/USB daughterboard connectors
Reassemble the keyboard
Sometimes, you may need to fully disassemble your keyboard, whether it's to swap out stabilizers or replace components due to a defect. In this video, we'll guide you through the process.

holy
i have no clue i didnt like build it myself i bought the finished one
isnt it included in the warranty? if i mess something up and break it it could even be worse and then wont be covered anymore
If you follow the guides then nothing should break
You don't have to do all the steps, just enough to be able to access the cable
if you dont feel comfortable at all you are of course free to reach out to us in a ticket and state you dont feel comfortable to take it apart of anything and want a warranty replacement.
can i do this over the dicsord?

hello @silver cedar @little panther
i opened the case and what should i do now? would it maybe be possible to get in a call with one of you
You should have gotten an automated email after contacting support with a timeframe stated. You now wait patiently for that timeframe or until somebody contacts you
ive gotten a response and they told me a bunch of technical terms and send me the video to disassemble it
i just dont know what to do now
"However, before we can provide any replacement parts, we will have to verify the issue first. This means we will have to request you to open up the case and check if the internal connection is connected well. If not, or if you notice any damage there, we can then help you out further. Please also note that when we send replacement parts, the disassembly process is also necessary."
you already disconnected that connector
its the cable that goes to the bottom of the module
basically follow 80he module assembly. and make sure the connector is pushed in as far as it goes (without breaking it of course)
yeah the one jst cable was a bit loose, works now
thank you guys
one more question, do yall recommend any keycap brand other than wooting themselves? i want to try some different ones
any that has an MX compatible keycap stem (the plus/cross shape)
