I was updating my keyboard through the web GUI and the keyboard bricked. Ive tried following the reset procedure (backspace + FN) but hasn't worked as of yet. I've checked my settings in Wootility in case i had re-mapped FN elsewhere but I'm definitely using the right keystrokes. Anyone have amy ideas?

For those who also facing the similar issue with “Bricked” Wooting:

  1. Check the logs first
    Open Wootility logs.
If you see the device connecting internally → bootloader is alive.

  2. Device detected but no RGB
    Totally normal in recovery mode.
    No lights ≠ dead keyboard.

  3. Firmware flash kept failing on my main PC
Recovery would start, then fail with: communication with device timed out
Likely USB / driver / HID conflict.

  4. Switched to another computer (this is the key)
Ran recovery again → firmware flashed successfully.

  5. Got stuck on “waiting for device / deviceReconnect”
    Important part:
    • Wait ~30 seconds
    • Unplug keyboard
    • Plug it back in once

Keyboard re-enumerated, lights came back, Wootility detected it.
