Hey Wooting team — I’m running into a limitation with RGB behavior on the 80HE and wanted to check if this is expected or something that could be considered as an option in the future.
On long keys like the spacebar, only the single logical LED assigned to the key responds to per-key reactive/trail effects. The additional physical LEDs under the spacebar (stabilizer area) don’t react, since they aren’t bound to the key.
I understand this is how LEDs are currently mapped, but would it be possible to add an optional setting where long keys (spacebar, enter, shift) can have their associated LEDs grouped or mirrored, so that a single keypress affects all LEDs physically under that key?
This would be especially useful for users running clean per-key effects (Trail, Reactive) who don’t want to add ripples or global effects just to light long keys evenly.
Screenshot attached shows the issue clearly when pressing Space.
Appreciate any insight on whether this is planned, feasible, or intentionally out of scope.
