I will put a Tl;DR at the start, I'm crazy like that.
- No way to move or migrate advanced keys between keys or profiles
- Copy/paste or drag-and-drop would solve it
- (Nice-to-have) Advanced key presets for reuse
- Minor UI flicker issue in “Active advanced keys” section
A lot of the time I want to move an advanced key to a different key, or reuse the same advanced key across different profiles, but that’s currently really hard to do. There’s no way to move or migrate advanced keys at all. Even basic things like copy/paste or drag-and-drop would be incredibly valuable. Right now, if I want the same advanced key in another game or on another key, I have to rebuild it from scratch, which feels like a bad design choice given how strong the rest of Wootility is.
Ideally, it would be amazing to be able to save advanced keys as some kind of preset, but that’s more of a nice-to-have. Honestly, even a simple copy/paste or drag-and-drop system would already be a huge improvement and bring this part of the software in line with how good everything else is. Love the hardware and the company overall.
Small unrelated UI note: in the “Active advanced keys” section, the visual state keeps switching when you move the mouse between items on different layers, no need to switch back to main layer when between two binds. It feels unnecessary and a bit visually noisy. Probably not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
