I love the wooting uwu so much, but i just wish it got the same love as the 80he and had 8khz. I know for most people it doesnt make sense but for rythm games it really makes a big difference, and other companies have done it before. I know its a bit far fetched, but I know a ton of people who have been wanting to get a uwu but deciding against it because of the lack of 8khz.

rythm games especially benifit from high polling refresh, and i know thats the main use for the uwu so it would be great.

#

a lot of communities use the uwu for when they dont need a full sized keyboard to play games so its the perfect audience

#

its also a fairly small project so it wouldnt take as long as the revamp for the 60he

#

rhythm games are also where the 8khz is by far the most noticable, making it more worthwhile to add it there

#

currently there are a lot of people using the sayodevice, which i can confirm is absolute crap. The only reason people use it is because it has 8k polling, and nothing else. the sayodevice has aweful build quality, and you are meant to replace it every other month. Im tired of low quality alternatives, and i would much rather a better build quality, like t he uwu.

#

if the 8khz alone doesnt make it worthwhile you could add other features, such as a knob, custom themes, and customizable keycaps (if possible)

#

the uwu is meant to be a macropad, and what better for productivity than a knob?

8khz doesnt make much difference than 1000hz but you can still enjoy your wooting uwu with as low as 0.1ms keypress and rapid trigger

0.1 ms? isnt that 8khz?

the uwu was made before wooting's switch to 8k Hhz, thats why it only has 1k

yea i really hope they do an UwU refresh soon.

mines gotten pretty beat up so i was looking at getting the new keypad by pulsar, but ive gotten so used to the 3 bottom buttons on the UwU that id rather wait for an updated one then swap.

outside of just updating everything like polling and software not sure exactly what would make it better.

but would be really cool if they made custom switches like they did for the Tenz keyboard.

ive been using my uwu for a while now and i want to upgrade, but i cant sacrifice the wooting build quality

its barely a macropad with 2 keys and a knob, and also you would have to buy another product

#

i know the uwu was made for osu aswell and osu isnt as reliant on polling rate, but other communities (geometry dash in particular) have started using it and polling rate is extremly significant there

#

its not as significant as it seems

#

it only really matters at top play

#

speaking from experience here

#

it helps with learning levels and gaining consistency

#

even then there are so many people at high levevls of play nowadays its still worth it
