Wooting 80HE disconnecting

ive had my Wooting 80HE for a couple weeks and it had a issue in the start where it kept turning off like in the video, i ignored it because it started to stop after a while, but now its back again. is there something i should try to do or do i ask for a replacement

Is the keyboard plugged directly into the motherboard?

Can you try other port and see if the keyboard still disconnects?

i tried and it still does the same stuff

its a very new pc aswell

Then there's a chance the JST cable inside the keyboard is loose and causing this. Best to disassemble it and check if both ends of the cable are fully seated into the connectors.

1. Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the case (you'll need PH1 screwdriver)
2. Remove the top case
3. Lift the module
4. Push both ends of the JST cable into the PCB/USB daughterboard connectors
5. Reassemble the keyboard

i lowk bought this from a different place than wooting itself

First you need to ask the seller to transfer the order to you https://help.wooting.io/article/79-transferring-ownership-of-an-order , then you can claim the role from the hub.

Is this JST issue fixed with newer versions of 80HE?

I had the same issue with my 80HE so i returned it. But I might get a new one if its solved
