They aren't supposed to go back up by themselves. Pull one up with a finger, and the other should follow.
Check if your switch goes back up after releasing the "cross"
The green circle is a switch (the thing the keycap sits on)
there is no way thats normal
That is how stabilizers work when there's no keycap installed. They are counterweights to the switch. They are only supposed to go up when pulled up by the switch.
Which is why I'm asking you to test if that is what happens. If you pull on end up, does the other follow it up and down smoothly?
oh thats what you mean well yeah the stabilizers do stay down but so does the whole keycap and i have to like pull it up
You're not listening. I'm telling you to REMOVE the keycap and test.
i did remove the keycap and they stay down like they should then i pull them back up but i do notice that they are harder to pull up then the other stabilizers
Sorry misread it
If you want me to i could send a short video showing what happens when i press the key
I perfectly understand what's happening. I am trying to help you diagnose the cause.

alright u want me to do anything else?
??
Mansen wants to check where the fault lies, as the backspace has three parts
-
Stabilizers – the two pieces of plastic on the left and right that keep larger keycaps stable. If these are jammed, you can check whether they move up and down easily.
-
The switch – located in the center. Simply pressing this can check if it has any issues.
-
The keycap – if this is warped or has bent stems, it can cause additional friction with the stabilizer, causing the keycap to get stuck.
The testing Mansen wants to do is to see if there is any issue caused by the keycap, which can be done by removing the backspace keycap and checking whether the stabilizer or switch has issues.
If you have the 60HE v2, there is also the possibility that the friction fit is caught on the stabilizer, which may require removing the module and reseating it to fix the issue.
Alright thank you and sorry if i caused any confusion im not the best at the technological side of keyboards and yeah its the stabilizers they get stuck down more then they should and the keycap sometimes won't go back up so i have to pull it up myself also i already checked and the keycap and switches aren't the problem
no worrys
in that case best to remove the Module from the case and try pulling the friciton fit out a bit (incase this is stuck between the Switch plate/pcb)
also best to check if the silicone is slighty off (somtiems it gets pushed in and causes issues)
the silicone isn't touching the screws
so do i do anything with the screws?
you can SLightly unscrew these and see if it helps (half a rotation would do)
but can give the stablizers a try to see if the problem is resolved before reassambly
i turned both screws halfway
and its still stuck
i also don't kow how much i can unscrew them because i feel like if theyf all out the sabiliziers might break
unlikely to break and most likely wont fall out (the switch-plate above would prevent that)
oh alright
so my current theoy is that their may be something between the stabilizer stem/housing causing friction
maybe also i don't know if its normal but when the stabilizers are up they can like wigle around
they have a bit of play so the wiggle is normal
Maybe able to wiggle this a bit upside down and remove anyhting stuck between (if lucky)
also i don't know if this is a posiblility but is it possible there is too much like lubricant or whatever is in there to lessen the friction
Did you personally add lube?
nope
Then that's unlikely
As Andrew is steering towards you might need to disassemble the stabiliser to check the inbetween bit
It could be something silly. Did it do this from the get go?
Or did it appear later?
nah i unboxed it and noticed it happening around like 30 minutes after i was playing games and typing
So, it is possible that either in the factory or in that short window, something managed to get in there
Could even be as small as a grain of sand
yeah i guess so
If you feel comfortable disassembling the stabiliser, I would do that first
There's the image above and I believe there's an official wooting disassembly video too
It looks complicated but assure you it's rather sturdy material that won't just break
Ok i'll try to do that
I can only find an assembly one
I'm fairly sure they do
i made a quick guide last week for the 60HE v2 any feedback would be appreciated
https://help.wooting.io/article/330-wooting-60he-v2-dissasmly-guide
What this guide covers We will walk through how to remove the module from the case and fully disassemble it into individual parts. If you plan on swapping compo
Yo i just disasembledmy keyboard and it works perfectly now
Also amazing guide my stabilizers are like new
also where can i find this again if i need it
you can bookmark it but it also in the knowlage base (witch is a bit dated so can be hard to find)
