I hope you’re doing well. I’ve been absolutely loving my Wooting 80HE—thank you and the entire team for the hard work that went into creating such an amazing product.
I’m reaching out because I’ve noticed an issue with the backlight LED on the MODE key. The key itself functions perfectly and is detected correctly, however the LED does not illuminate at all.
So far, I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Resetting the keyboard using the web-based Wootility
Testing multiple lighting profiles and effects
Reapplying lighting settings
Unfortunately, the MODE key LED still does not turn on. I haven’t owned the keyboard for very long, so I wanted to check whether this could be a hardware issue and see what the next steps would be under warranty or support.
I’d really appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you need any additional information from me.
It was just working fine till I updated the newest FW from beta. I have tried to to reset it but nothing had changed. Unplugged and plugged it back in.
Created a support email and followed the Cycle Lighting effect and the other instructions in there as well.
