I have a 80HE with the bare zink case.
And I noticed that the left underside felt “rough”.
I thought that perhaps I spilled something without noticing, so I started trying to clean it with some paper towels and water, but it seems that I didn’t spill something.
It’s the protective clear coating (or what ever it is) that had started bubbling, and it had som dark spots under it.
And it’s the clear coating that is coming off if I rubb on it.
I preordered this during the preorder campaign.
And I haven’t cleaned it with any chemicals what so ever.
Haven’t needed to since I take care of it well.
Have others had this issue? Its a very odd spot to get issues tbh. I dont even touch or put my hands around there, and I have the keyboard is on a deskmat.
