I see on the wootingmods site a lot of switches are compatible. Just wanted to confirm that they are indeed compatbible to 80 HE model. Can i pickup anything that is filltered by Magnetic Testing (Compatible)? I see many Gateron switches that are compatible so i can just swap them out without any issues? Apologies for a newbie question as this is my first hotswappable keyboard. My last one is a AW510K, so i am trying something new 🙂 And one observation, i wish wooting 80 HE was available in a full size 🙂

Any “Gateron style” HE switch should work as long as it’s got only those 2 mount posts. If you have questions about a specific switch that you’re interested, https://discord.com/channels/167181566978555904/984799440072220692 is the channel all the guys that spend hundreds to thousands customizing keyboards and I’d bet someone would be able to provide more info or their opinions about whatever switch it may be. Swapping switches is very easy to do once you learn the basics (watch some YouTube vids so you don’t go about breaking switches), you just need a switch puller (which a cheap one is included with wooting keyboards). Low profile switches are not compatible with Wooting keyboards.
