Why does keyboard input go dead when I disable the gamepad? RGB effects (which occur when typing) work fine, but key input doesn't work at all.

I was using F1 25 in gamepad mode, but after disabling F1 25, I no longer had a reason to use gamepad mode, so I disabled it. When I pressed a key on my keyboard, all functions, such as letters, numbers, ALT, and CTRL, were disabled. (However, I was able to successfully load a different profile using the Fn key and the color change event that occurred when pressing the key.) I also tried the beta update in the launcher settings, but the result was the same.
