#Rocket league analog wooting 60he

I know everything there is to know and I'm glad to help.
You can start by opening the Wootility app (either the downloadable app or the website version, doesn't matter) and go through the firmware updating steps if you haven't already.
Then you need to make a different profile for Rocket League that you can switch to by pressing the "Mode" button.
After you do that, switch to the Rocket League Profile, then go down to the "Gamepad" section, and enable it with the button to the left of "Setup & Remap".
Use the "Controller Mapping" buttons to assign all of these values to your keyboard buttons (don't worry about setting throttle and reverse, as it only introduces duplicate inputs that don't work nicely with RL's UE3 engine).
Then under the "Controller Mapping" buttons, disable "Enable keyboard keys". This is very important for avoiding duplicate inputs.
Then, under "Configuration", make sure you enable "Use Square joystick output" or your multi-keypress movement will be substantially boxed, and virtually unplayable.
Then go into Steam settings, and make sure Steam Input is enabled.
When loading into game, switch to your Rocket League profile with the "Mode" key and make sure you initiate the "Click any button to start" with a key that is mapped to your analog gamepad emulation.
Go into your in-game settings, and try to set throttle and reverse with your W and S keys. If it won't do it (which I'm not sure if it will, because I have one extra step in my personal emulation process that bypasses this), reset your controls back to default so they set proper.
Then come back into Wootility, and go to "Advanced Keys". You need to set a Dynamic Keystroke (DKS) for your W and S keys that bind your W key to Xbox Controller Left Thumbstick Up and RT while binding S to Left Thumbstick Back and LT.
If you have any problems, @ me.
i play rocket league on epic games
@placid spindle
so al works perfectly fine, just it keeps changing the input im playing with like controller and mouse, is there a solution?
@placid spindle
That's your problem.
I haven't found a way to make it work for Epic, I'm sorry.
Or are you saying it is currently working for epic?
Or at least a little bit, it seems?
Sry I'm confused lol
i added it on steam like a shortcut something like that
So feeding the shortcut thru Steam prompts Steam Input to hook into Epic Games RL?
just the input changes every time i click with the mouse
i think so
From what I've found, my systems let the input change pretty seamlessly. Does it not with yours?
Like it'll acknowledge it in the UI and switch between saying either Space Bar or Controller Button Y for toggle ballcam, but it doesn't noticably diminish my FPS.
YEAH THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT
it doesnt diminis my fps but it always display a tip
and i dont know if that happens to you
I think I just turned the tips off. Other than that, I just deal with all the UI switchiness. You get used to it pretty quick.
So is everything working now?
where do i turn tips off?
Settings -> Interface -> Ball Cam Indicator
You can't disable that one.
ohh alr
Yeah sry
well its working so tysm for your time
Of course brother, one more for the books
you're the goat
I don't think you understand how important this knowledge was for me
Def worth it
Gotchu fam 😎
hey, im trying to set it up too, but im not too sure what exactly to do
this is what i've done, but when pressing W in the tester, it doesnt show the xbox buttons
wait nvm, i just had to try it ingame... it worked
okay, now im having an issue thats not new to me. it will randomly just stop reading my inputs. Keyboard inputs work fine, but not analog ones. I've tried disabling and re-enabling steam input, but that doesnt do anything
I have tried:
Toggling off/on Steam Input
Restarting the game
Plugging out/in my keyboard and activating the profile
Changing the Steam Input layout to the default one
It was working perfectly, but after i went in to edit my steam input layout, so 1, 2, 3, 4 were activating the DPAD buttons directly, rather than the ingame command, so it would teleport the ball too, it stopped working.
steam is registering the "controller", but not registering any inputs from it
and the controller inputs register on windows, like navigating with the left stick
i've made a new thread

Tbh I'm not sure why I said what I did about DKS - you don't really need it.
My fault for misleading you.
This is what my gamepad binding looks like.
Make sure you have Steam Input enabled.
Oh my headass I just saw the new thread
I'll head there
can someone send a link of a profile in ?
