#Bugged keyboard 80HE

My keyboard is acting really strange, all the sudden it starts to plug and unplug, then it starts putting up snipping tool, then when i was spelling "thought" it starts typing random letters like below: ttttttttttttttttttttttttttttthhhhouggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhttttttttttttddjddj\j\l\ttt\9ttjt9tt9.\tl9\DJl9\TT.9\dTTdddtdjjdjj\jdtjd

Ive tried unplugging and replugging it without pressing any buttons, ive tried restarting my pc, after that i tried resetting the firmware twice which also didnt work. it bumps up from 0mm to 0.19 to 0.14 to nothing and to 0.08 and then to nothing and so on. but also it has shown to go down from 0.17 to slowly 0.16 to then 0.15 and so on with the exact delay of time between each distance which made me feel like it was bugged. ofc i cant know for sure, anyway its really odd and i would really appreciate any help!!

How's the keyboard connected to PC?

Do you use metal desk by any chance? Secretlab Magnus Pro for example
Can you plug the keyboard into a different USB port using the included cable?
Try decreasing the polling rate and see if it helps: Wootility > Settings > General settings > 1000hz

That's odd. Do you hear USB connection sound when you plug in the keyboard? Also use USB-C to A dongle and plug it in the different port, it's included in the box.

Nope same thing happened when I used C to A type port

It's the cable that connects the daughterboard (with the USB port) to the PCB and supplies it with power.

  1. Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the case (you'll need PH1 screwdriver)
  2. Remove the top case
  3. Lift the module
  4. Push both ends of the JST cable into the PCB/USB daughterboard connectors
  5. Reassemble the keyboard

Nice. Make sure it's fully plugged into both connectors so this doesn't happen again in the future.
