Perfect time to ask about the secretlab desk, does it affect your wooting keyboard? I’d assume it doesn’t. And if it does I wonder how u fixed it

o I only asked that because the secretlabs desk is all metal that uses magnets to stick accessories on it, so I thought that the magnets in hall effect switches would get affected by this desktop lol. I'm glad it doesn't do anything to the keyboard though, I'll get one in the future

Nope there’s a leather pad and the keyboard has housing and rubber feet and insulation padding in the keyboard itself between the circuit board and switches you’re good trust I’ve had no problems

I have low actuation personally never noticed. I mean compared to keyboards like razer or corsair it’s like night and day preference on the wooting is 1000% better imo

I guess I could find an antimagnetic mat or something 🤷‍♀️

Here’s the thing the desk is made of aluminum and the housing of the keyboard is aluminum and it doesn’t mess with the keyboard you’d need a really strong magnetic field to mess with the keyboard and even according to the wooting subreddit and other research I’ve come to the same conclusion nothing should affect it. He has a software issue maybe using a beta version his keyboard going bad, using a 3rd party cable (which I’ve used on my 60he+ and had issues like he’s described), or some other variable that is affecting his keyboards performance. I would take his input with skepticism

Mines in a tofu redux 60 which sits a little lower to the desk than the original in terms of the pcb
