i think the drivers assigned for the 1k mode are having trouble if you can try connecting the keyboard to anouther computer to test if this is limited to the current system
otherwise if not possible you can try the guide below to remove the assigned drivers and any left over registery files and see if this helps
https://help.wooting.io/article/173-how-to-flush-all-dead-registry-entries
Sometimes even after following this guide Issue - Wootility doesn't detect the Wooting the Wootility still can not detect the keyboard, this can be because of d
I don't have the App installed on my other computer so I used the web version and it worked
After retry web on my main PC also doesn't bug out
Very odd.
so i think it was the driver it may of fixed itself (maybe)
did you restart or shutdown the computer?
Windows and USB. Name a more iconic failure 😄
To confirm I will just try redoing the action that put me in that bug in the first place
Yeah it's working fine
It was Rapid Fire profile > Tachyon mode and while in this config, putting the polling back to 1k in the Settings that made me bug out
But now it just goes back to the default Typing Profile with 1k Hz
So I guess everything is working as intended
hmmmm
I am 90% sure it was a driver issue. Either way, it looks resolved.
(for reference, when the keyboard is detected for the first time, or if certain settings change, it will cause the system to assign the drivers. I assume in this case the device id for 1kl hz did not get assigned correctly by Windows (PnP) and caused the issues, and the system detected this and fixed this or reassigned them so it is likely only a one-time issue)
I think I'm gonna reinstall Windows, I plugged the keyboard back in and it is not detected anymore but neither is my audio interface (4 other USB peripherals are detected tho)
