Here is the sound test. I might change the mounting method in the future, but I’m very happy with how it sounds for now.
Amazing looking setup
I’m also planning on doing a similar build and was wondering when you friction mounted it did you also ground the case by screwing 1 screw in to the stand off or didn’t bother?
Thank you!
I screwed all screws along with the friction pad. I know that it kills the purpose of the friction fit pad but I am a perfectionist and for me it feels wrong to have only 1 screw, at that point I just screwed all of them 🫠
I saw a video on a YouTube from a guy who used friction fit pad in a Tofu case without grounding and he said that it works for him.
I personally wouldn’t risk it and have at least 1 screw or go for all of them as me if you think that it’s wrong to have only 1 😬
Honestly I’ll probably do the same mount that you did or no screws at all since I know my OCD will drive me crazy knowing I’ll have only 1 screw in.
Also thank you for the quick reply.
You’re welcome! Let me know if you have any questions during the assembly, I couldn’t find any info on questions that I had so I was doing everything myself without help and it took me like 2 hours to finish the build. I would be able to finish it within 20-30 minutes if I had all the answers right away.
What keyboard cable? Also pc case?
Stock cable that came with Wooting keyboard, the case is Ncase M2 Grater with matching silver panels.
What's the settings you use on monitor? I use the same!
Hey! The monitor that I use is MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 (I beelive that they are making a couple of the monitors with the same design)
