Just recieved my 60 HE v2 and I ordered the GEON Raw switches. The guide for installation showed the method for installing the Lekker switches which had the LED at the top and the logo at the bottom. These GEON switches prefer to be the other way around, therefore the RGB doesn't look as shown in the pictures on the website. Is this just a limitation of the switches or should I have forced the GEON switches the other way around? It could even be the keycaps I got sent?

The force to install the switch one way instead of the other was very different, felt as though it wasn't meant to go in.
can you show and image of which way around you say it takes more force?
Thanks, see attached.
right one is correct -> LED window for RGB should be UP/North
Thanks. That's crazy, it felt like they wouldn't go in. I'll strip a coouple out and check back.
hm wonder why it would feel that way tbh
I could be being overly cautious. I will try a couple now though.
I think im stuck this way no Im afriad Ive just tried taking one of the switches out and and the plastic covering the LED has snapped off.
they dont snap off
they are just slide in inserts
unless you mean smth other than the prism above the led area
Its a small piece of plastic that looks like it slid out. These switches are cemented in. I don't seem to be able to remove them
I think I'll leave it as is. The amount of force required to take these out is just too much. I feel like I'm going to bend and snap the entire board.
This is right. I've managed to pull a few of them out and replace them but sadly the tool to remove the switches has broken the prongs have just snapped off. I've ordered a set of steel ones from amazon and continue tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
