Yes, RGB softwares can interfere with Wootility's connection to the keyboard. Please disable them and replug it.
List of possible softwares:
Artemis RGB
Asus Armoury Crate
L-Connect3
Open RGB
Project Aurora
Razer software
Signal RGB
Motiv Mix
Nano Leaf desktop app
even after uninstalling signal and restarting the pc its not working :(
@primal jasper
so ive run some troubleshooting:
i uninstalled signalRGB and all the other software that controls any kind of lighting. that only changed it so now wootility tries over and over to connect with a timeout error.
the issue must be software tho since the KB connects to wootility on my laptop just fine
Try disabling backgrounds apps one at a time, one of them is probably messing with the connection.
it finds the KB and then says timed out :(
and there shouldnt be any more background apps that could interfere
i uninstalled them all
Is it plugged directly into the motherboard? If so, try a different USB port
on it
OH FOR FUCKS SAKE
YUP WORKS
1 hour of troubleshooting for nothing
i already tried another port but its just an extension of the usb hub the KB is already in
i deleted all my fine tuned profiles for NOTHING
So you were using USB hub before when you were experiencing this issue?
I’ve been using one ever since I’ve had the keyboard and it has worked flawlessly. Just with this recent pc upgrade it’s stopped working
