#Does the v2 need to have a screw for grounding?

I have the alumaze and I wanted to know if using the friction fit would mean I need use the screw for ground or is a not use at your own risk sort of thing?

if you dont have a metal sponge to ground the case to the pcb you need to put at least one screw in

Alumaze? Yes. Optimum / 60HEv2 case? No.

You CAN use a sponge in the alumaze, but you'll have to scrape off the material where the sponge sits for a good connection.
