You can't use the switch plate that comes with the OW60 case. You'll have to use the one that's already preinstalled into the 60HEv2
Is that the carbon fibre looking plate with the ow60?
Yep
I forgot to ask but is that for the normal 60he v2 aswell not split spacebar
@silk ibex you have the OW60 right? I don't have one on hand to help here 😄
yeah, you can follow all the same steps and it should work fine. OW60 fits onto our non split pcb perfectly
all the steps are identical, there's just one screw that gets shifted for the standoff when you install it. Here's a photo so you can see (you would use the empty hole on the plate there
Does that include fitting the ow60 components such as carbon fibre plate on non split pcb?
yes all of that fits fine, ow60 plate is compatible with both
it's only the split that the plate isn't compatible with
for non split their plate includes both holes so you just pick the one that matches your pcb
okay got it so I will just follow the assembly video as normal. If I do need any help I will reach out again. Also is it just PH1 screwdriver I need or can I do without any tools.
Thanks
