Hey, I have a modded Wooting 60he, and whenever I pressed W, It'll input it 2 or more times. I just had this problem today after almost 2 years of use. The fix I did to make it kind of usable was disabling the rapid trigger function. All my keys sensitivity is the lowest possible because i play Competitive shooters. I figured it may be the switch housing wobble when I pressed the W, because I tend to slide my fingers slightly when pressing which the housing wobbles a little, but if thats the problem why hasnt it occurred earlier. I tried pulling the switches from the other keys that I don't use often, and it dont help much. Please help me troubleshoot it. Thank you!

I have also tried the Delete and Function reset method it did nothing
What did you mod
Everything except the pcb
You have to be more specific here. What do you mean by 'everything'? Did you put IXPE foam between the PCB and plate? Did you use switch foam pads or anything like that?
Oh I did some Switch Padding that’s all
Yeah, remove them.
Is that really the problem? I’ve been using it like this and it’s been fine until something went wrong🫠
I mean if it really is then I’ll tear it apart and stuff, but is there any other possibility?
I can't tell if you don't list the mods you've done, but switch pads aren't recommended to use, because they introduce inaccuracy.
This is all
What's the foam mod? Just a case foam dampening or you put an extra foam between the PCB and a plate?
It’s just a case foam dampening. Because the stock already came with the pcb and plate foam right
Try without a switch pad please
Did you replug the keyboard after removing the pad?
Yes, I unplugged it, removed it, and plugged it back in
Try restoring the keyboard, make sure to save your profiles first:
Unplug your keyboard, then hold the top-right and the bottom-right keys. While holding them, plug the keyboard back in. After that, press 'Reset Device' in Wootility > Help > Troubleshoot.
Alright gimme a sec
Alright, after I’ve done it, it seems normal, but when I put my profiles back on it acted up again

Does the same on my 80HE :D
Most likely a bugged profile, create new profile and set your settings
Oh nah and I did all that just for it to be a bugged profile😭😭
Alright man, thank you so much
Thanks for the profile code. I can also replicate this on a few keyboards, it is a very strange problem.
I noticed in the profile code the W key is the only key without Rapid Trigger disabled. Was this disabled in your testing to fix the problem or was this always disabled?
looks like we found the cause 👍
