I am having a serious issue with my Wooting 60HE+ and I’m hoping you can help.
My keyboard became unresponsive in the middle of a firmware update. After that, it stopped turning on properly and it no longer shows up as a normal Wooting device.
Here is everything I have tried so far:
The keyboard originally appeared as Wooting Restore (COM#), but after driver clean-up it no longer shows a COM port at all.
The device currently only shows under HID in Device Manager, but not under Ports (COM & LPT).
The Wooting Recovery Tool does not detect the keyboard.
I attempted the restore key combinations:
FN + Backspace while plugging in
Holding it for 5 seconds before releasing
The keyboard still does not enter proper restore/bootloader mode and no COM device appears.
Zadig does not detect the device, likely because the bootloader never activates.
I attempted cleaning USB registry entries and driver associations as recommended, but the keyboard still refuses to enter restore mode.
I also attempted using an Admin CMD and permissions reset, but the behavior does not change.
Right now the keyboard only shows up under HID as:
Wooting 60HE+ (HID-compliant devices)
Wooting Restore (HID)
But it never presents the bootloader COM interface required for firmware flashing.
At this point, it seems like the keyboard is stuck in a state where restore mode will not activate, so I cannot complete the recovery process.
Could you please advise on the next steps?
If needed, I can provide photos, videos, and screenshots of Device Manager.
Thank you for your help
