#Keyboard inputs during gaming causes both keyboard and mouse to freeze for a few seconds

This is an issue I've had for some time, but usually it only happens when I have specific applications open. Today, however, after installing the new Wootility v5.2.1 update, I started getting the issue when playing osu!, and it's making the game unplayable as it both stops my tapping inputs, as well as completely freezes my mouse. I don't get the issue when only using my mouse, so it has to be related to using the keyboard.

Would love to get a fix for this, as it is extremely infuriating and I also have to play in a tournament this weekend, which I won't be able to if the issue persists. Thanks.

For the record, I have done a complete restoration of the keyboard, and the issue is still there.
