Possible to rollback/Any new way of automatic profile switching?

apparently the latest update (I'm on 80HE wootility v5.2.1, firmware v2.12.1) changed stuff enough that the wooting-profile-switcher program broke. and the developer is unable/doesn't have time fix it.
Is there any way to rollback, or any other program for active window based profile switching, or am I just out of luck and should not have updated and should look into using some other keyboard of mine now?

well anyway, if it is still in internal beta, I hope it would make it to public beta soon. I'm probably not the only one frustrated with this.
I have to admit that the ability to do automatic profile switching is (in my opinion) a very core feature that is very bad to be missing. but at least the 3rd party program wooting-profile-switcher was able to fill that hole. but right now since that program broke with no update coming to it, this keyboard feels very primitive right now. my key remaps are wildly different for ingame and e.g. typing in discord. right now clicking on discord to type something just fails and I remember "ahh fuck, shouldve manually toggled my profile.." and same for tabbing back into game and suddenly I cant move because didnt toggle profile back

80HE only I guess. but not at all what I'm asking about. I have the background service installed, but it does not include profile switching functionality.

start by uninstalling wootility, and installing an old version from the changelog
if it doesn't work, reset firmware too when using an older version of wootility, this should rollback your device firmware as well (but IIRC it shouldn't be needed cause it's wootility not the device firmware causing the hiccup with profile-switcher)

I can now confirm that rolling back just wootility was not enough. so to roll back firmware I should reset the whole keyboard? I worried for my profiles, not sure how I can back them up in a foolproof way

ok, rollback seems to have went well and firmware is successfully downgraded. and doing the share trick on profile codes was good. oddly enough though, wooting-profile-switcher still doesnt work. I'll try a computer reboot lol

ok, computer reboot actually worked (also deleted the profile-switcher config so it can be re-made (tried that before reboot as well)) now I'm not sure if firmware rollback was even required, but whatever happy to have this working

I guess now cant update wootility/firmware anymore before wooting finally gets their shit together and finally implements profile switching
