#Do Gateron Magnetic Jade Pros Need Special Stabilizers on Wooting 60HE v2?

Hey everyone, I just ordered the parts for my Wooting 60HE v2 build and wanted to double-check something before everything arrives.

My setup:
• Wooting 60HE v2 Module
• Optimum Aluminum 60% case
• Gateron Magnetic Jade Pro switches

After ordering, I came across some posts saying Magnetic Jades have a 3.5mm travel distance, while many stabilizers bottom out at 4.0mm.
Apparently, that 0.5mm difference can cause the stab to keep moving after the switch bottoms out, which leads to the key tilting when pressed on the edges.

So before I buy stabs, I want to ask:
1. Is this actually a problem on the 60HE v2 with Magnetic Jade Pros?
2. What stabilizers work best for 3.5mm short-travel HE switches?
3. Are TX stabs, Durock V2, or Staebies safe choices, or should I be using something specifically made for 3.5mm travel?
4. If anyone here has a similar setup, did you run into issues?

Trying to make sure I pick the right stabilizers and avoid any wobble/tilt problems once the build starts

You don't necessarily need other stabilizers. Keycap tilting with 3.5mm switches only happens if you're using really cheap keycaps, if you aren't, you'll be fine. I've never had any issues with 3.5mm switches on my Wooting keyboards.
If you still run into this problem, just get Geon stem spacers and put them on the stabilizer stems. This effectively turns them into long pole stabilizers, and you won't have any issues with 3.5mm switches anymore. No need to buy a new set of stabilizers.

GEONWORKS

Geon Stem Spacer # This is used on top of the switch stem or Stabilizer stem to balance the long-pole switch(3.0~3.5mm Travel) and stabilizer(4.0mm travel), or if there is interference with the keycap and switch.
