I have had my wooting 80he for about a year now. Great keyboard, great company, love it. Everything has been perfect besdies the last 2 days. My keys are sticking down (not physically, the key is not down at all) and it doesnt unstick until i press it. It has never happened before but its happening on a few different keys instantly. I havent spilt anything on it, i treat it well. Its very very clean. I obviously tried different keycaps, cleaned it, swapped out switches, made sure it was very clean no dust and its spotless. Im not new to keyboards so i understand this is useally just dirt, but i cannot make it any cleaner, i do not understand how its happening to multiple keys all the sudden. (its also up to date).

Anyone know how to fix or have had a similar issue? And does anyone know if there is warrenty?

i think the magnets on the switches are very very slightly picking up the magnets from my secretlab desk if i move my keyboard KEKW

#

that is actually insane

Yea that is a bit of a common issue with the secret labs desk

is there anything i could do on the software to make the mangets not as strong maybe?

maybe a magnet recently touched the metal surfaces and magnetised the area slightly?

mentioned taking apart the keyboard any chance the screwdriver has a magnet for the screws

dont think so

so this can be a bit complicated as it can rely on multiple factors calibration how magnetised the surface is and if mitigation methods can help if it is too strongly magnetised

we recently made a post on this that may help

but for now try lowering the actuation point so it doesn't cause any phantom presses

ill just use a XXL mousepad so my keyboard isnt on my desk ig

if that works looks like the interference is very low so thats good

for most cases this is caused by the red cable management pucks sold by secretlabs and this heavy magnetise the metal/area so deskmats don't tend to help
